innovatherm Prof. Dr. Leisenberg GmbH + Co. KG, innovatherm for short, has been a successful supplier of thermal process technology for the ceramics industry for over 30 years and is today the world market leader of firing systems for anode production for the primary aluminum industry. We supply complete firing systems consisting of specially developed burners, the necessary safety technology according to DIN EN 746-1 as well as the appropriate process control technology.

Our firing systems can be adapted for both gaseous and liquid fuels. We ensure a high energy efficiency of our plants with our proprietary pulse combustion technology. Hydrogen as the energy carrier of the future places new demands on the suitability of the components. Among other things, we have developed a new type of solenoid metering valve for hydrogen. This type-tested safety solenoid valve meets the Class A safety standard according to DIN EN ISO 23553-1 and allows precise metering of hydrogen at high gas pressures of up to 4 bar. A unique feature is the long service life of approx. 500 million switching cycles, which corresponds to a service life of approx. 20 years. Our burners are also prepared for the use of hydrogen as fuel.
